Today, I'd just like to say thank you.

Thank you to those who worked, campaigned, volunteered, called, wrote, and took part in this great democracy. 

Thank you to those, who have over the last 19 months, broadened my mind and caused my heart to swell.  

Thank you to the one who called me "asshat".  That was favorite of the terms of endearment.  Alas, my skin's a little thicker.  Important for a writer.

Thank you to Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton for going through it all.
