So, right now, it's Friday afternoon, and I'm scrambling to get something up for the weekend.
Been a crazy week.
Debate. Was that only this past Monday?
Then all of Donald's fallout, so to speak. Heard he was at it bright n early this morning, on Twitter.
In one he cited, that if we heard news about him from "sources", we shouldn't believe it. Couldn't help myself.
I replied:
"I don't need 'sources'. Your TWEETS alone are all I need to know you're unfit for POTUS.YEP #ImWithHer"
Earlier today, saw a couple of young voters in Nevada who are definitely voting for legalizing marijuana, but less sure that they'll even vote for president. Do they get how it all works?
Speaking of pot smoking, let me say a few words about Gary Johnson.
One, I'm good with marijuana being legal. I'm even fine with politicians who have endeavored into vices. However I do have this old-fashioned notion, call it childish idealism, that the president should be one of the, if not the the smartest person in the room. Johnson does not strike me that way.
I find him a tad creepy as well. Not on the same level as Donald, but creepy just the same. The interview with Kasie Hunt was bizarre. On an episode Samantha Bee's Full Frontal, Gary Johnson was on, and had Samantha join him on a climbing wall. At one point he's talking about "being in the moment" and leans over and gives Samantha a peck on the cheek. Now, I don't know whether this bit was scripted or not, but I was just skeeved by it.
Maybe it's just me and my issue with men who seem to feel entitled to the personal space of any woman they come in contact with. Just who the hell do they think they are?
Again my issue.
As for Hillary, well, as I said Monday, IT'S TIME TO GET EXCITED!
Yesterday I read an excellent piece by Melissa McEwan, Why Older Women Are So Enthusiastic About Hillary Clinton.
It's wonderfully articulated, and I do believe regardless of who you are, your gender, your age you should read it. You may even learn something, or better yet; come to understand more with a new outlook.
Remember, women, make up 51% of the US population; "older" is just a subjective term; and above all, A WOMAN GAVE YOU LIFE.
SO, READ IT.
With the way the week's been, I am very much looking forward to the return of Saturday Night Live for its 42nd season, as we prepare to elect our 45th president...
Which leads me to a new idea for my SNL Sketches I'd Love To See page.
~Donald's surrogates (lots of possibilities) Boris Epshteyn, Kellyanne Conway, Omarosa Manigault, Katrina Pierson, Kayleigh McEnany, Scottie Nell Hughes, Steve Cortes and Jeffrey Lord, portrayed by the talent of SNL, are watching the debate from a hotel room with a minibar. First "20 minutes" are okay, but as the 90 minutes wears on, so too does the morale of the surrogates. Too many hilarious, scenarios to imagine.
or...
~The surrogates are playing "keep away" with Donald's phone.
or maybe...
~Is Ms. Conway the last Trump Campaign manager? Somehow I kinda doubt it... there's potential there.
As I'm sure there'll be more next week.
Have a good weekend.
